The short version
- Open the catalogue, choose a make and narrow the list with the filters.
- Compare the cars by auction grade, mileage and the turnkey price on each card.
- Message us from the card — we confirm that the car is still available and send more photos and the exact price.
- Pay in three stages: half of our fee, then the invoice from Japan, then the rest in Cyprus.
- Wait 3–4 months and follow the car in the tracker.
- Receive the car in Cyprus — cleared through customs, tested and registered, with our representative beside you.
Step 1. Filter the catalogue
Open Cars Available to Order. It shows real lots from Japanese auctions and dealer networks, updated in real time.
- Start with the make. The search begins once a make is chosen; then pick the model.
- Set the year. Cyprus admits only cars under five years old on the day they arrive, counted from first registration in Japan. The page tells you which year to start from.
- Add what matters to you: body type, maximum mileage, auction grade, fuel, transmission, engine size, colour. On a phone these are behind the “Filters” button.
- Sort the results — newest first or by price — and choose the view: cards or a list.

Start wide — make, model, year — and narrow down step by step. A filter that is too narrow can find nothing, so add a colour only when the colour is the point.
Nothing suitable today? Press “Notify me about new lots” and enter the highest turnkey price you accept and the lowest auction grade. We check the Japanese stock every hour and write to you, by e-mail or notification, only when a lot matches.
Step 2. Choose the car
Each card shows the year, engine, mileage, auction grade and the estimated turnkey price in Cyprus. “View details” opens the photos, the auction sheet and the full price breakdown. Compare cars on three things:
- Auction grade. S or 6 is almost new, 5 is excellent, 4.5 very good, 4 good with normal wear for its age, 3.5 and 3 average. R and RA mean the car was repaired after an accident. The details are on the auction sheet — here is how to read it.
- Date of first registration. With 3–4 months of transit added, the car must still be under five years old when it arrives. More in our article on the rules to check before you pay.
- Where it was built. A car built in Japan pays 0% duty, any other 10%. The card already shows the right figure on the “Customs duty” line.
The price on the card is the estimated turnkey price in Cyprus. The breakdown under it shows every line: the car price in Japan, FOB, freight to Cyprus, duty, VAT 19%, the car release and registration expenses, and our fee. Euro figures use the current ECB reference rate. It is an estimate: once a car is chosen, we make the real calculation — an invoice with the actual price, FOB and the exact freight. A difference in euro can come only from your bank’s exchange rate on the day of the transfer.
A lot marked “Price on request” has no set price yet: send us its lot number and we will come back with the exact cost.
To keep a car, tap the heart — it goes to Favorites, and you will see there if it has been sold. “Download PDF” saves a spec sheet with the photos and the turnkey estimate, and “Share” sends the car to someone else.
One requirement concerns you, not the car: the buyer must hold Cyprus citizenship or a residence permit. It is a local legal requirement for registering a vehicle.
Step 3. Message us to get the details
Every card has two buttons: “Message us on WhatsApp” and “Message us on Telegram”. The message already names the car and carries its link — just send it. In reply we:
- confirm that the car is still available;
- send extra photos;
- send the auction sheet with a translation and, on request, a body and mileage history report;
- give you the exact all-in price.
The two ways of buying differ only in the process. A dealer-stock car has a fixed price and can be bought the moment you decide. An auction lot waits for its sale date and goes through bidding up to the maximum price agreed with you; winning is not guaranteed. If the bid does not win, we offer 1–2 similar lots from the next auctions at no extra sourcing fee.
Did not find the car? Leave a request through the form on the home page — year, trim, drivetrain, anything that matters — and we will send a shortlist of real lots. You can also write to +357 96 625 371 on WhatsApp, Telegram or Viber, or to sales@adngroup.co.jp.
Step 4. Pay in three stages
- Before the purchase — 50% of our fee, paid to our representative in Cyprus. It lets us buy the car on your behalf.
- After the purchase — the invoice for the car price, FOB and freight. You pay it by bank transfer to our account at a Japanese bank, in the name of ADN Group Stock Co., in full on receipt.
- When the car arrives in Cyprus — the remaining 50% of our fee and the Cyprus-side costs: delivery order, release from the port, duty, VAT, SVA, MOT and registration. You can pay them through our representative or yourself at each office.
Before you send money abroad to any company, check who it is. What to check — and how to check us — is in “How can I trust you?”.
Step 5. Wait 3–4 months and follow the car
After the purchase the car goes to the port on a certified car carrier, never under its own power, and we book the earliest available sailing.
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Buying the car | A few days from dealer stock; from a few days to a couple of weeks at auction |
| Freight booking | 1–2 months: demand is high and space on RoRo vessels is limited |
| Voyage to Cyprus | About 2 months: ships go around Africa rather than through the Suez Canal |
| In total | 3–4 months from purchase to arrival, depending on how busy the shipping line is |
A container usually takes longer than RoRo; electric cars travel in containers.
The exact date is known only once the specific booking is secured, and anyone promising “six weeks” right away, before there is even a booking, either does not know what they are talking about or is not being straight with you.
The tracker. Enter your invoice number on the tracker page to see where the car is: purchased, at the port in Japan, export documents and freight booking, in transit by sea, arrived in Cyprus, ready for handover. Once the booking is confirmed, it also shows the vessel, the departure date from Japan, the estimated arrival in Cyprus and the ship’s position on the map.

The car is insured for the whole voyage, and the insurance is included in the freight. The bill of lading is issued in your name as consignee, so the car is legally yours from the moment it is shipped.
Step 6. The documents
We prepare the originals in Japan: the export certificate with a certified translation, the invoice, the bill of lading and, for a car built in Japan, the statement on origin that gives the 0% duty. We send them by DHL to our representative in Cyprus, who hands the set to you when the car arrives.
All of these documents are issued by one company, ADN Group Stock Co. Why that matters is in our article on middlemen.
Step 7. Receive the car in Cyprus
When the car arrives, three things remain:
- Customs clearance. It is carried out by an independent customs broker; we connect you with ours and prepare the documents. Duty and VAT are paid, and the car is released from the port.
- Two tests: SVA, a one-off check against European safety and environmental requirements, and MOT, the roadworthiness test. Both are done at licensed inspection centres.
- Registration with the Road Transport Department, and the number plates. Insurance must be in place before the plates are issued.
There are 10 days from customs clearance to register the car, and that is enough for all of it. Our representative in Cyprus goes through each step with you. The rules in detail are in our article on the rules.
